Environment, Health & Safety Policy

We at VerGo Pharma Research Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (VPRL) recognize health, safety & environment protection as an integral aspect of our business. It is our moral responsibility to ensure that workers are provided with a safe & healthy work environment. The company is committed to utilizing energy resources in a responsible & efficient manner to reduce waste generation and to ensure sustainable growth. VPRL management sincerely believes that accidents are preventable and aim to achieve: “ZERO ACCIDENT LEVEL”

In Implementation of this policy, we:
  • Actively develop, promote, monitor & improve the procedures & work practices in compliance with the environment, health & safety requirements.
  • Monitor the work environment through regular inspections & audits to identify hazards and set corrective & preventive measures to ensure risk mitigation.
  • Comply with the statutory requirements concerning environment, health & safety.
  • Design and conduct job-specific EHS trainings to workers at all levels.
  • Constantly monitor the emissions, waste generated & disposal to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Incorporate appropriate EHS criteria & factors in business decisions in relation to procurement of new plant/ machinery & placement of personnel.
  • Identify & train the safety committee team members, firefighters & first aiders to monitor and improve the EHS standards.
  • Consider the health & safety performance of individuals at different levels while considering their career advancement. Encourage participation of associates at all levels in EHS events, competitions & programs to improve the EHS culture.
  • Review the policy’s relevance with respect to legal & business developments.
